Nicola provides a wonderful service and nothing is too much trouble. She is patient and kind. Everything is explained about your pets condition. I can’t praise her highly enough. Would recommend her totally.

We cannot praise highly enough the service we received when Nicola attended our little dog Benji. Sadly we had to say goodbye to him but Nicola was so kind and caring, she made it a calm and loving experience. There was no rush and we were able to spend extra precious time with him. We cannot recommend Nicola enough and will be forever grateful.

I had to make that awful decision when my loyal little friend of 15 years was so poorly. I didn’t like to see her suffer. Nicola (then of Weald Home Vets) came to my home and confirmed for me that Winnie would not get better. Nicola was so kind and understanding. Winnie went to sleep so peacefully in her own home with me holding her. I was hurting so much, but she wasn’t suffering anymore. Winnie was taken to David at Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium and I had Winnie’s ashes back the next day in the back of a lovely picture frame. David and Nicola’s support was second to none when I needed it most. Forever grateful

Nicola, I would like to thank you for your kindness and compassionate approach towards me and my beloved Pippi today.  I shall never forget how you made such a difficult and distressing time into one of calm, with a peaceful ending.

Nicola came yesterday to put my parents 15 year old West Highland terrier to sleep.
She came within the hour of contacting her.
Nicola explained everything in detail what was going to happen and what to expect which really helped.
She was so kind to Amy who went peacefully and quietly in her own home which made a tremendous difference.

We just wanted to thank you and Nicola for your treatment with our precious Frankie yesterday. Having Nicola come to the house made it so less stressful for Frankie and us obviously.  Nicola was caring and calm which is what Frankie needed as he is such a nervous cat, and to then know he was treated with respect for the rest of his journey. Nicola came out to our home to deliver a truly professional but respectful and caring farewell to our much loved Finley. She spoke us through every step and made the hard time of saying goodbye a calm, peaceful and most of all full of love last moment with him. She allowed us to be with him and worked around us and gave us time.

Our little 17 year old Jack Russell Dixie had dementia and it was breaking our hearts watching her struggling with it, so we knew it was time to say goodbye. Becouse of covid our vets could not come out, so we booked for her to go there which we never wanted for her. Two days before we were due to take her there, a friend gave us the number to Cherry Tree Farewells. We phoned up and spoke to Nicola to see if it would be possible to have her come out for the same day we had booked to go to the vets. Thankfully she could.
When she came to the house she was so kind and gentle with Dixie and made the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do just that little bit easier. She never rushed us, and gave us time to be with Dixie afterwards.
We were able to pick Dixies ashes up the next day. When we got there we were greeted at the door by David. Dixies ashes were in a little scatter box with a card that had a beautiful poem written inside. Both were put into a lovely bag, everything was so professional and respectful.
A few days later we received lovely card from Nicola, she had put some forget me not seeds in so we could plant them as a remembrance to Dixie.
We will be forever grateful for the beautiful send off we were able to give our little Dixie with the help of Nicola and Cherry Tree Farewells.

Making that heartbreaking decision is tough, Nicola was compassionate and so kind and did not hesitate to come out to Sydney in a difficult time ( covid) he was put to sleep in my arms and.most importantly, to us, in his familar surroundings. I cannot thankyou enough for the peaceful way Sydney went on his final journey thankyou with all my heart.

Nicola came out to put our darling dog, Sam to sleep. She was so sensitive, kind and compassionate, yet professional and we were so grateful that we could have Sam put to sleep in familiar surroundings for him. The lovely follow up card and seeds to sow in remembrance of him was such a lovely touch and so appreciated by us. I thank God for the vet putting us on to you. I would recommend Cherry Tree to anyone.

We knew the time would come when we would have to say goodbye to our little boy, Bean. After a cancer diagnosis, we spent the last few precious months feeding him steak and roast chicken and taking him walking in all his favourite places. We were so grateful for the recommendation our vet made to Cherry Tree and the wonderful service they provide. We never wanted Bean to know that anything was out of the ordinary. Luckily for us, he was as well as he could be until the day we had to make the heart breaking decision to say goodbye. Nicola’s service allowed us to say goodbye in the way we wanted – at home with our beautiful boy, smothered in kisses and surrounded by all his familiar things. Nicola was able to come to the house within a few hours of our call. She explained each step sensitively and took the time to ensure we were happy with everything that would happen. No death is easy, but the service Nicola provided made us feel we had done the best we could for Bean and that we gave him as peaceful a send off as possible. We were so thankful to find Cherry Tree when we knew a difficult decision had to be made about our beloved Irish Setter Willow and our regular Vets were not offering home visits due to Covid.
Nicola came to our home and was so calm and compassionate, taking time to talk to and about Willow and our other dog, explaining the process and allowing us time to be with Willow.
I could not have wished for this difficult time to have gone any smoother, we all said our ‘au revoirs’ and Willow was so relaxed as she drifted off to sleep, snoring peacefully as Nicola gave her the final injection.
We collected her ashes a day later and again so professional and compassionate. I wholeheartedly recommend Cherry Tree gentle farewells.

She was so compassionate, explained everything clearly every step of the way, we didn’t feel rushed and were allowed as much time as we needed. Having our girl Lili put to sleep at home made it so much more of a peaceful experience (as she always panicked at the vets) and it meant we could all be with her to say our goodbyes. Just over a week ago, we said goodbye to one of our family. At 13 and a half years old, age related disease and associated neurological conditions were taking their toll and medication was no longer benefiting.
To be honest, if your home service was not available at this time, I’m ashamed to admit, we would probably dragged his life out for as long as possible – just to avoid, depositing him at the vets, knowing how anxious he would be and not being allowed to accompany him, so thank you on his behalf for that….

We have (we had) 5 in our family – 4 rescues with various quirks and our Spider. It was so important to us that they were together at the end, a decision that Nicola didn’t just facilitate, but encouraged.
There was no rush and Nicola took the time to let them all adjust to her being in their home.
The entire process was calm and pain free. Thanks to Nicola, our beautiful man left us peacefully and with dignity, surrounded by his family and the friends he shaped into happy, confident dogs over the years.
What a wonderful, final gift to be able to give our amazing boy.
