What a truly wonderful service that Cherry tree offer.
Our Max a cocker was 15 yrs old when we requested there help for end of life help. Jess came to our home and the dignity and care was remarkable.Everything as explained about procedure. Max was able to be cuddled as he fell asleep and my wife was able to say there last goodbyes to each other nothing was rushed a peaceful end to our lovely boy. A peaceful and stressless end.

Our loving Cocker Max 15yrs was helped in departing this world with great care and dignity. A huge thanks to Jess who explained the procedure and was so understanding and patient as we said our good byes in our emotional moments..he has left a huge hole in our lives..he will be our last dog now because of our ages..Many thanks to everyone at cherry tree gentle farewells ..Alan and Marie.

I knew the inevitable day was coming and I was at a complete loss as what best to do for my 12 year old Pug. I emailed Cherry Tree for information. I received a reply promptly and it was full of compassion and lots of info. I arranged for Nicola to come to my home as my boy had a dislike for the vets. It was a tough day, I put on a brave face for my baby boy but everything about the home visit was calm, peaceful and for him to spend his final moments in the comfort of his own home…… it gave me peace of mind. I collected my boy a couple of days later and it hit me like a ton of bricks but to see his casket so beautifully presented…… I knew from start to finish, he was looked after and loved. Thank you to all the staff who helped me and my baby during a very difficult time, you certainly eased the pain.

I can not recommend Cherry Tree enough. David was so caring and kind. He made my morning picking up our beautiful pony so beautiful. I knew David and his team looked after her the minute he picked her up. He listened to everything I had asked and made the morning so special.

The vet, Nicola, was so kind from the start. Stroking my other 2 dogs and making them feel included. She knelt with Elle, stroked her and talked to her the whole time. She made 100% sure that Elle was ready and so were we. Elle jumped at one point, Nicola couldn’t have been more apologetic to her . Letting go is not easy, but it was made into a lovely experience. Just a heartfelt thank you to the Cherry Tree team, to Sandra but most of all to Jess for being so calm, dignified and caring last Thursday.

Jess was quite brilliant and gave us all the time we needed before my beautiful black Labrador ‘Ruby’ passed calmly and peacefully away.

Words cannot convey my sadness at losing my beloved Ruby after almost 16 years, what an absolute blessing she was and I am so glad to have been able to share part of my life with her. We all miss Ruby so very much.

Where do we start , Im so glad CT is there for us. From making the call and receiving such kind genuine care and warmth at the end of the phone. From Jess, the vet , arriving at our home to help say goodbye to our beautiful boy , can t explain how wonderful she was . And going to collect his ashes from the centre and receiving such a thoughtful reception. It made the whole event so much better . I wish we could do this for humans too . Thank you for being there and doing such a wonderful service .

Dear Nicola

Please know that you really did a wonderful job of helping Maggie and me through an incredibly difficult time and giving Maggie the gentle, pain-free end she deserved. The entire experience, from initially talking to Jess, who was so kind and helpful to your visit which was warm, caring, empathetic and so reassuring, was almost uplifting and hugely appreciated by me.

I realise now (having said goodbye to three dogs before Maggie) that the end, if handled sensitively, gently and with as much care as possible, can actually be a beautiful experience. Thank you so much for making Maggie’s end so ‘wonderful’.

I cannot recommend you and your service highly enough and I am so very grateful to you for making a dreadful time bearable, truly, thank you so much.

We cannot thank Nicola enough for the care and compassion she showed toward us. From the moment she stepped into our home she was so calm and caring towards our dog max. Nothing was too much trouble she was very caring, explained everything to us and nothing was rushed.

This is simply to record our thanks to Jess for the way she helped us say goodbye to our wonderful dog Freddie. He passed away last Wednesday (31st May) at the grand old age of 17. It was naturally a very sad occasion, and we were quite overwhelmed with grief. However, we are so grateful that Jess was there to help us all. She was so kind and discreet. She couldn’t have been more empathetic. We were lucky to have her help Freddie on his way. Thanks Jess x
